The product, in the report: Trampoline and Enclosure
My son was on the SPORTSPOWER trampoline (with enclosure Model# LT-6001EN) and my husband was standing on the ground outside of the trampoline throwing a ball back and forth. When my son jumped to catch the ball, he lost his balance and fell against the safety netting. The netting ripped open, and my son fell out of the enclosure and onto the ground, landing on his head.
He complained of head, neck, and chest pain, accompanied by dizziness. I took him to Children’s Medical Center for evaluation. Based on his continued symptoms, he was given a head and neck x-ray. These x-rays led to an order for a CAT scan. The results of the tests were negative, so he was released from the hospital on a “monitor” status, but is still experiencing these symptoms.
