The product, in the report: http://www.walmart.com/ip/Bounce-Pro-14-Foot-Trampoline-with-Slama-Jama-Basketball-Blue/47222679
My son was nearly strangled to death by the Bounce pro basketball hoop trampoline. http://www.walmart.com/ip/Bounce-Pro-14-Foot-Trampoline-with-Slama-Jama-Basketball-Blue/47222679 I had heard something that sounded like a weak cry for help. When I looked outside, I saw my son entangled with his arms above his head and the cords that suspends the basketball hoop wrapped around his neck and arms. As he tried to escape, it became tighter and tighter around his neck. If his arm wouldn’t have been entangled too, he’d be dead right now because the cords would’ve just tightened around his neck only. I ran outside and held him up to release some of the pressure on his neck, while my daughter ran inside to grab a knife to cut him free. He was turning purple and had snot coming from his nose. He’s an 8 year old, limited verbal kid with autism, but he managed to try and cry for help. He told me that he was calling but no one came. That’s because he was being strangled. I don’t want any other child or parent to go through this. Thank goodness that I found him before it was too late. He is ok, I believe me and my daughter are more traumatized, when we first saw him, I thought he was dead. Please take this specific feature of the trampolines off of the market. There shouldn’t be any sort of cords suspended above the trampoline. They almost killed my baby.

The product, in the report: BouncePro 14’ trampoline
The springs on the BouncePro trampolines continually break and fly up and hit the person who is on the trampoline. I contacted the BouncePro customer service to report this, they sent another set of springs out to me. The replacement springs have almost all broken in the same manner as the original ones. They have hit my daughter in the legs, arms, and torso many times, as well as, landed up in the limbs of our trees. They break with quite a bit of force behind them. She has had bruises from the springs hitting her.

The product, in the report: 14’ trampoline
I purchased a 14’ power sport bounce pro trampoline from Wal Mart last fall and my 14 year old son is the only one who bounces on it. Last night not one, but TWO springs broke (about 5 hours apart) and sailed across the mat hitting him hard on the ankle (the same ankle on the exact same spot both times) causing him intense pain and bruising! He is of average height (5’9”) and weight (130#) and does not do flips or any wild moves on it. He is now afraid to bounce anymore and I am afraid to let him until this problem is resolved by buying him stronger more reliable springs!!

The product, in the report: BouncePro 14’ Trampoline tr-1686-tpr safety enclosure
We purchased the tr-1686-tpr BouncePro Trampoline and enclosure for Christmas. Within 7 months the safety net had small rips. We stopped using the trampoline once we noticed the rips, but the safety net continued to rip and is now tattered and useless. Had we not noticed the small rip, I am sure that the next person to bounce against the net would have gone through and gotten injured.

The product, in the report: Bouncepro 14’ trampoline with enclosure (“improved” black netting)
We puchased a Bouncepro tramoline with an enclosure in the spring of 2011. When my children began using it in the spring of 2012 it tore on two seperate occasions, with one of my children falling through the hole each time. Luckily, they were not injured and we have discontinued using the trampoline. I checked the companies recall site thinking this was the netting affected by the recall, but it turns out to be the “improved black netting” that is not subject to the recall according to the website.

The product, in the report: 14 foot BouncePro trampoline. Brown in color
We have the bouncepro 14 ft trampoline, TR-14-63-A. Today July 6,12 my daughter was jumping and fell back onto the net and it completely ripped and tore half way off the whole trampoline. She fell off backwards and hit her neck on the ground. Since she grabbed the net as she was falling out she also hurt her wrist because of how she landed. We have only owned it for 2 years and it is barely used. I was quite shocked it just completely gave way and she fell out.

The trampoline safety net on the trampoline was recalled for safety reasons. The email address to report your item was very hard to contact, ended up having to call the company three times to get the correct email address - an address that was not posted - they wanted me to send my information. I sent the information. The trampoline met all the guidelines - same serial number - provided the photo of the serial number on the leg of the trampoline in my yard, the photo of their logo on the net, and proved that it was the brown netting. This netting has torn - yet it was without incident thank goodness. But if the company recall something - I met all the qualifications....they emailed me back and said “oh that is one that has not been recalled”? Having a hard time believing that they are standing behind the recall?

The product, in the report: Bounce Pro Trampoline with Flash Zone. The net is Black mesh and does not have the three arches on the top. There is a metal ring that goes through the net at the top that attaches to the poles to hold the net up
My three year old daughter was jumping on the trampoline with her six year old brother. My husband was supervising them. while jumping a hole opened up out of no where and my three year old daughter fell out of the net head first. Thankfully she was not injured but this situation could have been alot worse. The net is not dry rotted at all so I am rather unsure of why this hole opened out of the blue. The kids are not allowed to use their trampoline now and the replacement nets are 100.00 for the same net, I have only had this one for a year and 5 months It should still be intact. NOTE: this is not the trampoline that currently has a recall on the net. This is the “new” “improved” black netting that is being sent for replacement of the brown mesh nets.

No one hurt Made Dec 21, 2011, sent to the company Dec 30, 2011, published by CPSC Jan 17, 2012
The product, in the report: BouncePro 15 foot combo (black) trampoline with (black) safety net and (blue) safety padding by Sportspower.
Purchased July 15, 2011 on sale from $375.00 to $301.00. Returned Dec 21, 2011.
The safety enclosure net and padding around the top of our 15 foot BouncePro by Sports Power combo trampoline was deteriorating rapidly. We put it up in late July, used it for two weeks, went on a two week vacation and generally used the trampoline on weekends once daylight savings started. Within three months, the safety net had a major rip. This rendered the net more of a safety hazard than a safety feature. The kids were told to stay out until the net was fixed. They did not.
One of the neighborhood kids was on the trampoline and tripped forward as she was exiting the enclosure, then the seams where you enter and leave to shut the enclosure came undone and she fell right out! She went home crying to her mother but between us we were able to determine that there was no major injury. Luckily she fell onto our overgrown grass on the soft part of the lawn.
We decided we’d try to replace the net and that the trampoline was OFF LIMITS until ALL safety features where intact. A week later, the safety pads began cracking, peeling, and curling or ripping.
The trampoline was dangerous and it was too risky to leave up and chance an injury. So, we took it down.
We are returning it to Sam’s Club today per the manufacturer’s suggestion. Sam’s has a 100% customer satisfaction guarantee. The manufacturer was not in the least bit ‘concerned’ about the inferior quality of their product.
