  1. First aid

Made Feb 18, 2017, sent to the company Mar 17, 2017, published by CPSC Mar 31, 2017

The product, in the report: A premium trampoline safety net.

We purchased a premium 15’ Trampoline and PREMIUM enclosure system from ACON AIR USA approximately March 22, 2016 from their web site www.acon24.com. In less than a year the metal banding at the top of the enclosure which is required to protect from falling off the trampoline has failed twice. The first time the company stated they have received many complaints regarding failure from design due to the metal bands coming loose from their plastic screw locks stripping from the four point metal crimp connectors and releasing the bands. The first failure was reported within months of use and after repeated (recorded phone calls) and emails the company sent out a “NEW DESIGN” which also failed, the metal band breaking around the attachment point. These premature failures have resulted in one injury and many days of lost use due to safety.
