I was driving my 2019 ez go gas powered valor with 3 of my family members aboard when we smelled something burning. Upon seeing a significant amount of smoke from the engine compartment we stopped and exited the vehicle. Inspection revealed the starter generator cable had somehow come to rest across the exhaust pipe causing it to completely sever the cable.
