The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

  1. Hurt, no treatment

The product, in the report: Under Armour golf hats. Metal spikes appear on the inside of the hat that sits on top of one’s head and pieces the scalp causing bleeding. I have 6 of these hats and it has happened to 3 of the hats already. I assume that it will happen to all the others as well.

I own 6 Under Armour golf hats. After having washed the hats several times, metal spikes appear on the inside of the hat. When putting the hats on, the metal spikes then piece my scalp and cause bleeding. This is so unusual. I have never had this happen with other golf hats. 3 of the 6 hats that I have are now unusable because of the metal spikes that have appeared. I have washed many other golf hats and never had this happen before. I have written to Under Armour Consumer Affairs and as expected, I have had no response.
