The product, in the report: EVERHOT The Ultimate Hot Water Dispenser by Water, Inc
I’ve own an Everhot Water dispenser called “the Ultimate” since 2008. On May 30, 2014, after using the unit to make a cup of coffee, the AC cord started to overheat and smoke nearly catching the kitchen cabinets on fire. We hired an electrician to check our electrical lines and found the lines to be fine. He then took apart the hot water dispenser to see the short originated in the unit’s switch component. With so many units in homes, my concern is this product’s fire potential. Thank you
