The product, in the report: Blue metal tank Utilitech 2-Gallon Expansion Pressure Tank Model # LET2 100 sn# 1516C002938 Expansion tank for heater overflow works on heaters up to 50 gallon Powder coated interior shell protects against corrosion, assures long trouble free life Exterior powder coat paint for long life and anti-corrosion, certified to automotive ASTM standards Tank Type: Expansion Tank Discharge Size (Inches): 0.75 Height (Inches): 10.1875 Diameter (Inches): 8.25 UNSPSC: 24111800 (United Nations Standard Products and Services Code)
Since having a NEW gas hot water tank installed 8/14/2015 I have experienced water leaking from my Pressure Relief valve. I replaced Pressure Relief valve in 2017. I continue to have issues with leaking from Pressure Relief valve. Yesterday 02/21/2021, while checking PSI of my Utilitech Model: LET2 100 expansion tank air valve, water came out of air valve. I then knew my expansion tank bladder had failed. This is an extremely dangerous product failure that could possibly cause massive property damage, injury and/or death. VERY HIGH RISK OF EXPLOSION!
