The product, in the report: 50 gallon gas fired State Water heater.
Our 7 year old 50 gallon gas water heater, serial # 1403T483505, had a loud Pop and then started burning outside of the burner. It sounded as if it was a jet engine. We called our HVAC company, and they found a tear in the screen on the burner and replaced it on January 12th at a cost of over $600.00. It is not a model listed on the AO Smith recall.
