The product, in the report: Shark Vertex UltraLight DuoClean PowerFinStick Vacuum Corded version Model Number HZ2002 S/N: Z12K1206Z1Q5 - Blue in color.

On June 28, 2021 I reported a defective Shark Vacuum Cleaner in its design and/or manufacture Report Number [REDACTED]. The manufacturer Shark, replaced the unit under the 5 year warranty since the product was purchased just one year prior. As before, the newer unit heats up to the point of melting the outer casing after vacuuming only half of an average sized room before shutting down. However, after letting the unit cool down, and upon attempting to continue use, the unit heats up faster and hotter, making it dangerous to continue further use due to risk of fire. The replaced unit in 2021 was returned to the Shark Company in order to look into a design or manufacture flaw at my request rather than my disposing of it as I was told by them during the first occurrence.
