The product, in the report: Roomietec vacuum model # (Vincent-SL587) caught on fire, I initie this concern with the fire department with pictures and video. It was concluded that the battery was faulty and initiated the fire. The Deputy Fire Marshal encouraged me to report the incidente. I made multiple phone calls to the manufacturer of the vacuum to report other problems with the same unit, but no response from the manufacturer, this incident could be prevented by attende my calls and avoiding future incidents. In the end I was able to contact a service department via email to service@roomietec.com. But they didn’t want to take responsibility for the incident, and the damage to my house. Stated that the vacuum was out of warranty to avoid any responsibility from it. I sended the unit via [REDACTED] to the address suggested on their web page, (RoomieTEC.com) so they may dissect and find the cause of the fire, the box was returned with the note, (the roomietec has moved).
