The product, in the report: The brand is Nicebay by Whall, and the manual refers to it as “Battery-cyclone vacuum cleaner”. It’s a red stick vacuum, purchased through Amazon.com, model EV-691R.

I bought a Battery-cyclone vacuum cleaner (stick vacuum) by Nicebay by Whall. The first time I used it to vacuum the living room carpet, it shocked me when I touched the switch to adjust the suction setting. It happened three times within about one minute, and the shocks were strong enough to be painful and frightening. I turned off the vacuum, removed the battery, and do not feel it is safe to use.
