The product, in the report: Ubrelvy 100mg (NDC 00023-6501-10) and Ubrelvy 50mg (NDC 00023-6498-10)
I spoke with Abbvie’s drug information team to confirm that Ubrelvy unit dose foil packets are child-resistant. After they investigating, they determined that there was no information to support that Ubrelvy’s packaging was child-resistant. Their unit dose foil packets are listed on their prescriber website as being supplied in “Convenient on-the-go packs” that “can always be on hand, anywhere patients need their acute treatment.” The foil pack sizes also are too large to easily be repackaged and removed from child safety packaging that is stocked by most retail pharamacies, so repackaged foil packs are difficult for the patient to remove
