The product, in the report: Samsung slide in Electric range recalled earlier. This complaint is in regards to fix they came up with, plastic bubble knob cover as a fix for recall
This is in reference to Samsungs quick fix for there electric range recall. We notified them when the recall came out. We received the cheap plastic bubbles to put over knobs. Now you can’t read what setting you are on when you turn the knob. on. 2 burners have several functions 1 is a switch for using adjoining burner for a hot plate. The other burner has 3 functions for small medium and large burner you can’t see which one you are on. Not knowing what heat setting you are on is a hazard. The flimsy cover is held on by 2 sided tape and not last long This in a totally useless fix. A dollar store fix for a $3000 stove. Samsung needs to come up with a replacement knobs that lock.
