Made Feb 5, 2015, sent to the company Feb 13, 2015, published by CPSC Mar 11, 2015

The product, in the report: Blackburn’s strawberry preserves 18oz. jar, cap #32713 by 11-08-15.

This morning I opened a new jar of Blackburn’s strawberry preserves and after dispensing some contents I wiped the jar rim with my finger to remove the excess and my finger received a sliced cut across the tip. Either there was some glass fragment on the jar or the jar lip cracked with opening. This product is from T.J. Blackburn’s Syrup Works, inc. Jefferson TX. 800-527-8630. I called their phone number and per the VRU tried O for operator but got no answer and the recording said this option is invalid. I had purchased this product from my local Menards store. The cap of this jar shows #32713 by 11-08-15.
