  1. Hurt, no treatment

Made Apr 1, 2023, sent to the company Apr 25, 2023, published by CPSC May 9, 2023

The product, in the report: On 03-23-23 I went to Home goods Store at Edgewater Harbor [REDACTED] Edgewater Nj 07020 and there I purchased a package with PAPER napkins labeled as GUEST TOWELS they have colorful printed patterns with lemons and oranges and pink flowers and bees on them and there were many more of these guest towels there for sale with different colors but I picked these. These were covered with a transparent paper they are 40cmX33 CM ..

On 03-23-23 I went to Home goods Store at Edgewater Harbor [REDACTED] and there I purchased a package with PAPER napkins labeled as GUEST TOWELS. A few days later when I opened these towels at home I noticed that they had a BAD ammonia odor on them and it was the entire package that had the bad odor. I called TJX [REDACTED] at 833-888-0776 and after struggling with their impaired automated system I reached to a live operator and told them the issue with these guest towels. I am not sure if they took it seriously and I am not sure if they would go to the extend to remove these from their stores, so I am reporting them here. These guest towels with their strong ammonia odor made me nauseated and throw up. Please there are a few issues that need to be addressed here on the customer’s receipt these are printed as SATIONARY and they are not stationary these must be printed in their real name as GUEST TOWELS, I had a hard time to find out where did I get these from ,but then I saw the stamp Home goods on them and I saw that there was one of the items printed as STATIONARY with the price $5.99 and it matched the labels on this nasty ammonia smelling package. The other items that I purchased from the shady store of Home goods were not stationary neither they were BIG PAPER BAGS,but they were listed like that. WHY IS SO? WHY SHOULD WE ALLOW THEM TO COVER FOR THE REAL NAMES OF THE ITEMS.The other issues are HOW COME TJX corporation does NOT run a quality check on their products BEFORE THEY REACH on the consumer’s hands?! WHY DOES NOT THE USA government put inspectors to inspect the products that are flooding our markets? Please raise these issues too.THANK YOU!

We need the clear name of the manufacturer and a tel # and an address for the manufacturer too. We need the date of the production and the expiration date clearly printed on the items too and what ingredients are the items made with they should be printed at the package too . Please raise these issues too and feel free to forward our complaints to the appropriate departments for further attention .THANK YOU!
