The product, in the report: TENDER WHITE MEAT CHICKEN POT PIES, 8 chicken pot pies
While my wife was following the instructions heating a Marie Callender’s TENDER WHITE MEAT CHICKEN POT PIE, previously stored in the freezer, in a microwave oven on 05/28/2025, we observed a corner of the pie box on fire inside the oven around the 5.5 minutes time mark. The fire continued and grew larger even after we pulled the box out of the oven. A lot of smoke was produced by the fire. We put out the fire by putting a kitchen towel over the box that was on fire. Had we not noticed the fire in time, the microwave oven may be ignited and causing a kitchen fire.
