  1. No one hurt

Made Aug 24, 2023, sent to the company Aug 28, 2023, published by CPSC Sep 20, 2023

The product, in the report: Three packages of napkins arrived at my home very quickly on placing my order with Amazon.

I ordered three packages of napkins with nice patterns on them from Amazon.

3 packets of napkins from 3 different vendors arrived undamaged in a tight plastic wrap. On opening each packet, extremely strong pungent chemical odor. formaldehyde? Alerted Amazon. wrote 3 reviews of caution. avoided touching, smelling product.

UPDATED ON 8/25/2023: [Risk of harm: table napkins with strong and unduly chemical smell arrived to my home. Smell/fumes created significant and powerful headache (nearly sick to stomach). It is believe that whatever the chemical is, if touched it could cause a reaction to the skin -especially if someone used on the face, hands, nose, etc. Those with asthma and allergies could be at risk. I am one of those people though my asthma and allergies have been contained for a long time.

Napkins need to be tested - were from 3 separate vendors -yet all 3 had some smell on them.]
