  1. No one hurt

Made Oct 29, 2022, sent to the company Nov 25, 2022, published by CPSC Dec 9, 2022

The product, in the report: I purchased a roll of toilet paper a few days ago at [REDACTED] Fort Lee NJ 07024 ..I started to use the toilet paper and I noticed that it had a bad odor. Its brand name is Life Goods. I had had the same experience with life Goods Bath tissue around a year ago when I first tried their toilet papers.. I talked to them on the phone about the odor on their paper towels and toilet papers, and they said they will look into these issues, BUT they never did. At this brand they never put the phone number on the paper that covers the toilet papers too. We as consumers would want a production and expiration date on these products too. Please inspect this brand and their products and do what is needed to be done.

I purchased Life Goods toilet paper at [REDACTED] Fairway market in Fort Lee Nj 07024 and this toilet paper while I started to use it I noticed that it had a bad odor.

No it was not damaged and or modified. It just had a BAD odor when I started using it and so this product had a bad odor last year when I purchased a toilet paper roll from Life goods too. It caused me nausea and infection when I wiped with it.

  2. No one hurt

The product, in the report: LifeGoods Wax paper 75 Sq Ft roll. The product is in a red box with white lettering UPC 5070000936

I was reheating a portion of eggplant parmesan in a microwave safe bowl in my microwave. I put a piece of wax paper on top of the bowl to promote even heating. I set the microwave on 2 minutes. I minute into the heating process, the wax paper burst into flame. I immediately turned off and unplugged the microwave. The wax paper on top of the eggplant parmesan burned completely. The brand of wax paper is LifeGoods , distributed by Federated Group, Inc. 3025 W Salt Creek Lane, Arlington Heights, Il 60005. The brand is significant because I have used other wax paper in my microwave in the past and this has never happened before. Also, once I cleaned my microwave, I heated up food the next day using another brand of waxed paper without this occurring. I noticed that the Lifegoods waxed paper seems to only be waxed on one side of the paper and is a lot thinner than other brands of waxed paper. On the LifeGoods box it states that their wax paper is “great for microwave ovens, food prep and storing food.” This is decidedly not true. I am reporting this incident because I believe LifeGoods wax paper is a definite fire hazard for consumers.
