The product, in the report: Great Value Unbleached Parchment Paper available at Walmart.com website - [REDACTED] for complete description and picture of the product.

I purchased the Great Value Unbleached Parchment Paper Certified Compostable at Walmart ([REDACTED]) and used it to line my baking pan to cook frozen fish filet in a 400F toaster over/air fryer for 10 min. I left the kitchen and came back after the fish was cooked. A corner of the parchment paper burned away and the edges were scorched with burns. I thought maybe the parchment paper touched the heating element which caused the burning so I tried the same process again with a smaller piece of parchment paper that fit perfectly inside the baking pan. It still burned! According to the instructions printed on the parchment paper box, this paper is supposed to withstand temperatures up to 420F so my 400F oven should be well within safe use. For public safety and to avoid fire hazard, this product should NOT be sold since many customers are using parchment paper to line their pans in air fryers. At the very least, Great Value should put a warning about air fryer usage and lower the acceptable temperature so this would not happen to other customers.

The product, in the report: Walmart - Great Value Branch - Soak Proof, Microwavable - 110 Plates - 8 5/8 Inch (21.9 cm)

I was in the process of warming food (chicken) in the microwave on a Walmart Brand Great Value microwavable paper plate. - 110 plate package. The food was on the plate in the microwave no more than 45 seconds and a flame presented, burning the plate and causing me to open the microwave to extinguish the flame. I was able to blow the flame out. Luckily I was standing in the kitchen while the incident took place, as the food was timed for 1.5 minutes. I’m still not certain why the plate would catch fire and have also requested the microwave be inspected. I do have photos of the plate and the microwave was clean. I was very concerned regarding this issue as others might encounter the same problem or I may have walked about from the unit and not have seen the beginning of the fire. This is very disturbing and I never would have used the plate in the microwave if I had known this was a possibility. Thank you.
