When using left hand to press lid on 1-liter glass jar made by Bormiolio Rocco (“soffio”), the jar shattered, nearly severing left thumb. Was not pushing aggressively or otherwise hard. Required hand surgery to reattach 2 muscles and a nerve. This product is unsafe in any size.
