The product, in the report: Canning lids
I used [REDACTED] and Kerr canning lids in my canning this year. Although I did nothing different than I have done for the last 40 years, many of the lids buckled and wrinkled during the canning process. I am certain that the company has changed the manufacture of these lids in some way this year. I wrote to them but their answer to me was completely unsatisfactory, saying that I must have tightened the rings too tightly. If I did everything just as I have done in previous years, why suddenly this year did I have wrinkling that I had never had before? I am now concerned that the foods I canned will pool or be unsafe to eat. Is there something you can do to look into this? Thank you.
