The product, in the report: 28 ounce lemon lime single date/lot Aug0122MDC 0737501677
I purchased a Powerade March 2nd. While opening the cap it sustained around a 1” cut to the palm/heal of my hand. I noticed a rough deformity under the cap. I noticed Coca Cola right away. They took a report however they have not completed an investigation. It has been over 1 and 1/2 months and appears they have no concern for the public.

Emergency room Made May 3, 2016, sent to the company May 11, 2016, published by CPSC Jun 2, 2016
The product, in the report: PowerAde perfect squeeze water bottle 32 oz pack of 2 Bought the product online at Amazon: Product name: PowerAde Perfect squeeze water bottle 32 oz pack of 2 @ $12.39
Powerade Perfect Squeeze water bottle 32 oz pack of 2 from Amazon. April 26 2016 my 7 years old son was taken to the Arcadia,California urgent care hospital. His index finger on his right hand was stucked between the water outlet. Unlike the [REDACTED] Water bottle, there wasn’t a safety cover preventing children or anyone else preventing it from putting finger into the outlet. This incident happened at school. was called to take our son to the hospital. 4 doctor’s at the urgent care was debating about cutting it with the saw. My son was in pain and finally they decided to pull off the cap using some gel and ice pack. Now he has a scar and cuts around his finger. I have contacted the manufacturer: Coke company, but still have not receive any reply.
As a parent I am very concern with this product. I have the pictures of the incident and the hospital report.
Thank You [REDACTED]
