Hurt, no treatment Made Apr 26, 2026, sent to the company Apr 29, 2026, published by CPSC May 20, 2026
The product, in the report: Blush Colby Water Bottle LOT 1 BATCH 1 DIMENSIONS Overall: 4” wide x 3” deep x 9.75” high Interior: 3” diameter, 8.5” high Straw: 7.5” high Interior Capacity: 550ml Weight: 0.75 lbs
Discovered copious amounts of black mold inside of the lid of their water bottle. The water bottle is not able to be disassembled properly. The only way we were able to access behind and under the straw where the mold was growing was to break the lid. The lid was also held together by 4 screws. Which also doesnt seem safe. The fact that there is NO way to properly clean this childrens water bottle is so dangerous. We have no clue how long the mold was there, because it wasnt until it started smelling incredibly musty that we noticed. We cleaned it with a straw pipe cleaner, vigorously by hand and dried it the best we could, but unknowingly there was still an insane amount of cracks and holes that are impossible to clean, see or even get to. They do not disclose anywhere that the lid and straw area is physically impossible to clean.
