The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

  1. No one hurt

Made Oct 10, 2024, sent to the company Oct 16, 2024, published by CPSC Oct 30, 2024

The product, in the report: Hiya Health classic vitamin bottle, yellow, about 4-5 inches tall and 2.5 inches wide. Fits in a small hand.

A child vitamin bottle made by Hiya Health, that we have had in our home for just under a year, handled daily by my now 3 year old son, came up positive for lead paint. There have been no recalls on this product, so I am certain there are others with the same product in their home unknowingly.

In my case specifically, my one year old daughter got a hold of it several months ago and put teeth marks in it (teething), meaning she ingested lead paint from a product that was distributed by Hiya Health. The company claims to make their bottle with food-safe and non-toxic materials.
