After regular use of the waterbottle, including routine cleaning, I discovered mold accumulating around the bottom lip of the jug. This area is impossible to clean by hand, and is not recommended for use in a dishwasher. I discovered the mold after dealing with bouts of vomitting and diahhrea- which I now believe was caused by the mold.
