  1. Hurt, no treatment

Made Dec 13, 2016, sent to the company Dec 21, 2016, published by CPSC Jan 13, 2017

The product, in the report: This involves a bottle of fingernail polish. The incident happened two separate times. I shook the bottle maybe three or four times like anyone does before they open a bottle of nail polish. With the first incident, the bottle broke in my hand while I was shaking it. I was left with 3-4 pieces of broken bottle, some smaller shards, and nail polish running through my hand. I had a small shallow cut on my palm that was healed in 2-3 days. The 2nd incident 8 months later, same situation except that I shook it, put the bottle down and about 20 seconds later (i was not touching it) it cracked just like the other bottle.

ZOYA fingernail polish. I had 2 different glass bottles crack ito multiple pieces and nail polish run all over the place. The first time I was shaking it before opening and it broke in my hand. I shook it 3-4 times almost on autopilot like any woman does with a bottle of polish. The 2nd time, apprx 8 months later, I shook a bottle in preparation for use, and put it on the bed while I went to do something else. 3-5 minutes later I returned to a broken bottle and a puddle of nail polish. Mostly large chunks of glass but a few small shards.

Color was CECILIA. The 2nd bottle was CINNAMON
