The product, in the report: Smuckers Sweet Orange Marmalade 18oz Jar
Today for the SECOND time a chard of glass broke off a jar of Smuckers Sweet Orange Marmalade. I was simply holding the jar and using a knife to scoop out the marmalade from the jar and a chard of glass (about 3/8 “) broke off from the bottom edge of the jar, pierced my skin and cut my finger. On December 4th of 2021 a chard of glass (about 1/2”) from a different jar broke off and landed on the plate of food beneath where I was scooping out the marmalade with a knife. The first time it happened I assumed I must have accidently bumped the marmalade jar on another glass jar in the refrigerator door even though I did not have a memory of doing so. I have been extremely careful since then and this new jar has not been bumped against anything and broke from normal use. I still have the jar from December and I kept the one from today also. If you want to examine or test them please tell me where to send them to you.
