The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

The product, in the report: It was a 33.8 fl ounce bottle of Sparkling Lemonade.

Last night I accidentally tipped over a large bottle of sparkling lemon juice on my kitchen counter. It instantly exploded with such force that my entire kitchen was covered with glass shards and lemonade. One shard hit the back of a knuckle on my left middle finger. The cut was deep enough to injure a tendon, and I will likely need surgery to repair it. I’ll know more in a few days, after a referral appointment with a plastic surgeon. My hand is currently in a cast to immobilize the joint, and I have a few stitches. I am not exaggerating when I say the bottle exploded. I can not believe how lucky I am that glass didn’t shoot up into my eyes.
