The product, in the report: Pyrex glass storage container, round, 7201-PC on the lid (not the largest size--next to largest)
A Pyrex glass storage container exploded in my hand while washing dishes. It was not subjected to extremely hot or cold temperatures. It was used in a microwave to reheat macaroni about 45 minutes before with no problems. It was not hot when submersed, but exploded into shards of glass when rinsed. I did not drop it or hit it. I use the word “exploded” because the shards of glass were embedded in one hand and slivers cut between my fingers. I was not seriously injured, but now have PTSD ( haha).
