The product, in the report: Litehouse chunky bleu cheese dressing and dip glass jar
At 7:30 am on Sunday morning, May 6th, 2012, I was opening a jar of “litehouse” chunky bleu cheese dressing. When I pulled it out of my refrigerator and unscrewed the plastic lid on the jar, the bottom of the glass jar at the knurling detail, popped off and the glass round bottom hit my foot. It sliced down to the bone severing my tendons for my big toe on my left foot. I immediately had to go the emergency room with my two young children, as I could not get my foot to stop bleeding. I now have had surgery on this foot to repair the damage, and may need to go back for a second surgery. The expiration date on the jar was for three days after this incident, the expiration date on the jar is May 9th, 2012. I have now had to wear a special orthopedic boot to support my toe since surgery on May 14th, for six weeks. I still have the glass jar in my possession.
