Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

The product, in the report: Water Bottle with Straw, 24 oz Glass water Bottle with 2 Lids Bamboo Straw Lid and Spout Lid with Handle, 32 oz Clear Water Bottle Glass for Sports Travel, Waterbottle with Time Marker

My wife was drinking water from water bottle with rubber casing. The glass bottom broke unnoticed, shards of glass ended up in the water. No injuries but she thought she might have ingested one of the shards of glass. I examined the bottle and found that the glass on the bottom of the bottle was extremely thin (only 0.7mm thick). We don’t know exactly when it broke because there is a rubber sleeve over the bottle which concealed the broken glass and prevented it from leaking. The sides of the bottle are 3.5mm thick, I imagine the thin bottom is a manufacturing defect. I have photos of the glass shards but they would not upload via this website.
