The product, in the report: Herbivore COCO ROSE Coconut + Sugar Body Polish 8 oz.
I was using a jar of Herbivore Coco Rose sugar scrub on 9/12/26. I was using the product in the shower. The glass jar fell off the ledge in the shower and broke. Shards of broken glass went all over the shower floor and one of them cut my toe open. It bled profusely. The entire contents of the jar spilled out and mixed with broken glass. The product contains oil, which further increased the slipperiness of the environment the product is meant to be used in. I do not understand why a product meant for shower/bath use is packaged in a glass jar. There is no warning on the packaging about the risk of glass breakage or of injury. Every single other product in my shower is in plastic bottles or jars. My general understanding is that glass is dangerous in a wet and slippery environment. This is not a high strength glass and has limited impact resistance. This packaging is incredibly unsafe and is likely to cause injury to other consumers if breakage occurs.
