The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

  1. Seen by a doctor or nurse

Made Feb 9, 2025, sent to the company Feb 12, 2025, published by CPSC Feb 27, 2025

The product, in the report: YETI water bottle with stainless steel lining, red with black twist top, 9 1/2 inches high by 3 1/2 inches round.

Metal chip particles are floating in the bottom of my YETI water bottle. Metal (lead) comes off the connecting seam at the bottom of the YETI bottle or the stainless steel lining is slowly deteriorating. Either one is causing metal particles to float in the water and settle towards the bottom. Drinking from the YETI water bottle daily for years, has caused high levels of Ferritin to show in my blood tests, which has alarmed my doctor since Ferritin gets deposited on the liver and cannot dissolve causing irreversible damage. I wish to request a recall on this product for the safety of millions of other people that use this product unsuspectingly.
