  1. Seen by a doctor or nurse

Made Sep 21, 2017, sent to the company Sep 29, 2017, published by CPSC Oct 23, 2017

The product, in the report: Camelbak Eddy bottled water. Blue with straw and suction aparatus on top. Has a label on bottle “Got your BAK lifetime guaranteed” Bar code: 86798 53635. Made in China number 15273. Redesigned cap and bite valve provide faster flow and enhanced durability - This valve made the cut on the tongue

Bottle water made by Camelbak eddy has a suction apparatus on the top of the bottle to suck the water. THe apparatus has an opening in the middle that has cut my son’s tongue. On the opening his tongue got stuck and cut his tongue, causing bleeding. The opening grabs into the tongue when sucking the water. My son suffered a cut tongue that bleed over 10 minutes. This product is very dangerous for people, not only kids. The product is not safe and should be taken out the market. The suction aparatus is like a lip opening that when there is suction it grabs the toungue. We called doctor and doctor told us to monitor the cut and so glad it was not a deep cut. If my son gets an infection, I will like to sue the company that sells this product.
