The product, in the report: Baby Food jars - glass jars with plastic lid that have a rubber ring inside the cover. The ring is a bit too wide, and/or covers too small, and they do not screw on correctly. 8 Oz jars. Youngever Glass Baby Food Storage, 8 Ounce Baby Food Glass Containers with Airtight Lids, Glass Jars with Lids, 8 Assorted Colors Amazon link: https://a.co/d/1okGEAN

Purchased food storage jars from Youngever through Amazon. The covers didn’t screw on properly. When I contacted seller, was told they could send a replacement, but I figured I’d just use the product as is. Recently noticed that pieces of the plastic jar cover had scraped off and were mixed in with the contents, which was a powder supplement for myself. Luckily this was for myself and not for my children. I do not know if I ingested any of the pieces of plastic as I mixed it into my beverage and drank it before noticing the blue fragments. I also do not know if any of the other covers have had this issue while I have used them for my family’s food over the past few months. But I’m very concerned as this is marketed as a product to use for baby food.
