  1. Hurt, no treatment

Made Feb 11, 2019, sent to the company Feb 21, 2019, published by CPSC Mar 15, 2019

The product, in the report: Utz baked cheddar cheese balls. 28 oz barrel container.

Utz cheese balls empty container. I had saved it and put toys in it. My child was playing with the toys and dumped them out and picked up the container and squeezed her head into the container. The narrow neck of the container made it really difficult to get off. Child had to use force to put it on and the force to pull it off would hurt neck. I was worried I would have to go to the emergency room to have it removed. It took two adults one to hold container and myself to squeeze the very hard plastic opening to fit back over childs head and pull it off. It was not easy to remove and child was beyond upset. Child has small scratches on temple and abrasions on forehead. My child is 2.5 years old. A warning on the label was very tiny and I never thought to read the label before this.

Although injury is not severe I would absolutely worry about this situation happening again and parents or another child could accidentally injure a child trying to remove it. The narrow neck with the wider inside almost a barrel shape to the container needs to be changed immediately. PLEASE dont let this container continue to be made for the safety of children.
