The product, in the report: Kid’s water bottle 10z Summit (Simple Modern) #202009. Multi colored hard plastic top on steel can.
To whom it may concern,
My 3 year old tripped and fell recently with his simple modern water bottle in his mouth. It damaged his upper lip and teeth due to the hard plastic straw and the top hook hit the bridge of his nose, causing a hard bruise. We took him to the pediatric dentist the following morning. Thankfully no permanent damage at this time.
I assess the hard plastic top for young kids may not be a good idea and needs to be reconsidered for flexible plastic straws.
This injury was caused by a kid’s water bottle 10z Summit #202009.
