The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

  1. No one hurt

Made Jun 5, 2025, sent to the company Jun 10, 2025, published by CPSC Jun 25, 2025

The product, in the report: Kids Multivitamins with Omega 3 Fish Oil, Vitamin D, and Choline. The bottle contains 180 gummy vitamins when purchased.

Between the evening of 06/04 and morning of 06/05, my daughter gained access to her Smarty Pants Kids Formula Multivitamins. The childproof cap (white) that is inside of the red closure cap disengaged and separated from the cap, making the vitamins accessible to her. Poison control was notified on 06/05/2025 at approximately 8:30 am CST. She is currently being monitored for adverse reactions.

The product, in the report: Smarty Pants Probiotics for kids in a pink bottle

My barely 3-year old son was able to very easily open a bottle of Smarty Pants Probiotics for kids, and eat as many as he wanted. The cap is WAY too easy to open, and is not child proof!
