  1. No incident, no one hurt

Made Sep 28, 2022, sent to the company Oct 21, 2022, published by CPSC Nov 4, 2022

The product, in the report: SAMNYTE Tattoo Numbing Cream / Topical Pain Treatment for Tattoos / 6 hours Maximum Strength Pain Relieve. The product tube comes in a rectangular box - much like a toothpaste box. Both the box and the tube are mostly white and a shade of green. This order contained a tube with 60ml / 2.12 FL. Oz of cream

I ordered a Lidocaine 5% numbing cream manufactured / distributed by SAMNYTE from an Amazon retailer and discovered after receiving it that it was not in a childproof container as required. The tube in which the product is delivered is easily mistaken for toothpaste. I have four little children and the last thing I need is for them to brush their teeth with Lidocain cream or ingest this product.

The product, in the report: It is a Tattoo numbing cream. 60 ML 5% lidocaine cream.

I ordered a lidocaine cream from amazon. Samnyte is the brand. From my knowledge as an Emergency Medicine Physician, and my training, I know this product should have a Child Resistant Closure on it. It does not.
