The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

  1. Hurt, no treatment

The product, in the report: Kite Hill Greek Style Almond Yogurt vanilla unsweetened flavor. 16oz size container UPC 8 56624 00471 5

I suffered a deep cut on the tip of my right index finger when trying to take the plastic cover off of a container of Kite Hill Greek Style Almond Milk Yogurt. The top was difficult to pull off; my finger slid across the edge of the top. I am reporting this because the edge of the top of a container of yogurt should not be sharp enough to cause a deep cut. Not only is the cut deep, but there are collateral consequences. I am a physician and wash or sanitize my hands frequently. The cut will take longer to heal because of that. A bandage also interferes. I am therefore very careful to protect the skin of my hands and should not need to protect myself from a yogurt container.
