The product, in the report: Bleach bottle
Caller is reporting that the store brand bleach was stored on a shelf in the basement about 5-6 months. He stated that he kept smelling a strong bleach odor and discovered that the bleach had leaked out all over on his power tools which ruined them. He stated that the container was very thin. He stated that he reported the incident to the retailer, and they requested that he sent in the bottle to the company. Caller stated that he has not heard back from the company since. Caller stated that after cleaning up the product it dried out his skin and it became red. Caller feels that the product should be labeled not to be stored over 6 months, and the bottle is not made thick enough to contain harsh chemicals.
(01/2025) Kik Corp. said that the bleach was manufactured August August 25th 2022. I purchased from Wal Mart Forest Lake MN 651-464-9740 in October 2024. I decided not to use it on my concrete basement floor because of the odor. I put the bleach on a shelf in the basement. In early April 2025 I smelled bleach and realized it had leak onto the ports in the molded plastic shelf and then overflowed to the shelf below onto a canvas bag and into the bag containing [REDACTED] 18 volt heavy duty cordless tools. The bleach ruined the bag and the tools. WalMart reffered to Kik Corp because they manufactured it. They concluded that the bleach can’t be stored on a shelf for longer than 6 months. I does not state that on the bottle. I have been treated very rudely by both Walmart and Kik Corp. There is a lot more to say when you get this please contact me at [REDACTED]. I still have the empty bottle.

The product, in the report: 32 oz. Container of pure maple syrup. It was about 2/3 full. It was in my microwave at half power for less than one minute.
A bottle of Great Value Pure Maple Syrup caught fire as I was warming it in the microwave.
