The reports, as CPSC published them
Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.
Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

The product, in the report: Nail polish remover with acetone
I used Equate brand nail polish remover with acetone from Walmart. It is packaged in an unsafe plastic bottle, which sprayed acetone into my eyes when the top was pushed down, as directed. I received emergency medical attention and reported the matter to Walmart Corporate, warning that the product should be removed.

No one hurt Made Jul 22, 2019, sent to the company Aug 9, 2019, published by CPSC Aug 23, 2019
The product, in the report: Walmart; Equate 91% Isopropyl Alcohol
I recently purchased a 32oz bottle of Equate 91% Isopropyl Alcohol at Walmart. They have changed the bottle since I last bought this product. The new bottle is made too thin. When you open it, just the weight of the bottle and contents forces you to grip the bottle with enough force that when you break the seal alcohol squirts out. The snap closed cap with 1/8” diameter hole allows alcohol to squirt out a couple of feet. Perhaps if this were some product other than alcohol that would not be so serious. But haven’t these people heard, ALCOHOL BURNS. My Lady Friend likes to keep candles burning in the bathroom. You guess what happened ? ! Lucky, no serious damage occurred because I kept my head and wet a towel to snuff out the flames. This kind of flimsy packaging may be OK with bottled water, but ALCOHOL ? Geez, has everybody in the country got a serious case of stupid. [REDACTED].
