The product, in the report: Expo Dry Erase Board Cleaner pump bottle type
A member of the workforce at our site here in New Mexico in 2011 had a bottle of Expo Dry Erase Board Cleaner become pressurized and explode in their face causing corneal abrasions. The bottles had caps that easily broke off and the cleaner was discolored yellow. Recently, more of these same Expo cleaners have been found at our site (with no incident). They are also discolored and the caps easily can be removed. Unfortunately, our Environmental and Safety personnel have already disposed of the bottles, but we were curious if there have been any similar reports of Expo cleaner causing serious injuries due to unexpected pressurization.
