  1. No one hurt

Made Jul 12, 2021, sent to the company Aug 3, 2021, published by CPSC Aug 17, 2021

The product, in the report: From the product page on Amazon.com: “Lung Support Supplement - Mullein Capsules for Lung Cleanse and Detox - Made in USA - Respiratory System & Mucus Clear - Vegan Supplement for Lung Detox & Respiratory Support - 60 Capsules” Brand: BrioBreath Naturals Item: Lung Cleanse - 60 capsules The original UPC is covered with a sticker: LPN RR BI503 4768 LOT 20L020 BB 11/2022

Through Amazon.com, I ordered a 60 capsule bottle of ‘Lung Cleanse’ by BrioBreath Naturals. I inspected the bottle prior to opening it and found that there was no outer seal nor was there an inner seal. The bottle itself even states, “Do not use if safety seal is broken or missing.” Prior to this, I contacted both Amazon and the seller to inquire about this issue. In over 10 years of purchasing supplements online (as well as in stores), this was the first time I came across a product that lacked a safety seal of any kind. The bottle arrived in an Amazon shipping pouch, so there was no outer box. There was/is some cotton inside the bottle, but no safety seals of any kind. In fact, I was able to see that there may have been an inner safety seal due to residue on the bottle, but it was not removed by me. This seems like a serious issue, as these pills could have been tampered with in some way.
