My Bernina Sewing machine caught fire today. I was mending a few items and it had only been in use for about 10 -15 min. I heard a slight pop and then smoke started coming out of inner components that aren’t accessible. I have a Bernina 1005. I unplugged the machine and took it outside. I did not see flames only smoke for approximately 10 min.
