CBP Jacksonville sent EPA Region 4 images of a copper water bottle product they stopped which they believed to be regulated by FIFRA. EPA determined that the product was regulated by FIFRA because it made claims to kill bacteria in the water put inside. The product is noncompliant with FIFRA and will be refused entry. However, it is likely that there are more of this product being imported and sold in the US (likely on Amazon). Please reach out for specific importer details.
