The product, in the report: Kroger Big K Dr. K & Cream Soda Zero Sugar and Kroger Big K Chery Cola Zero Sugar
Product Description: Kroger Big K store-brand soda cans.
Incident Description: Multiple cans of Big K soda spontaneously ruptured and exploded prior to use. While other name-brand canned beverages ([REDACTED]) stored under identical conditions maintained their structural integrity, the Big K cans suffered catastrophic failure. While attempting to safely dispose of and clear the ruptured and compromised cans, my mother sustained a physical laceration from the sharp metal failure.
Injury Details: Laceration to the hand/finger requiring first aid due to sharp, failed aluminum structural integrity.
