The product, in the report: Agua de Kefir Cultured Hydration (Dragon Fruit Fresa and Guava Paloma flavors)
Product name: Agua de Kefir Cultured Hydration (Dragon Fruit Fresa and Guava Palomas flavors). Manufacturer: GT’s Living Foods, P.O. Box 2352, Beverly Hills, CA 90213. Package: a 12 fl oz (355ml) aluminium can. I purchased multiple cans of this product which began to deform and bulge shortly after purchase due to excessive internal pressure, likely from over-fermentation. On August 10, 2025, at approximately 1:29 PM EDT, one can “blew” open spontaneously while my children were nearby, causing them significant fright and requiring time to calm them. The explosion posed a potential injury risk, and the defect suggests a manufacturing or packaging failure, raising concerns about the safety of prior consumption.
