The product, in the report: Storacell by Powerpax SlimLine 18650 Battery Caddy Orange
I purchased this for quick easy battery storage. Unfortunately, after using it for a year, I found a major flaw with this product. It puts excess wear on the plastic wrap that protects the battery causing it to crack. When the wrap cracks, the batteries can accidentally short out if they come into contact with each other. The happened to myself one morning. One battery came into contact with the second and shorted out. End result, $3200 fire damage to my truck and a trip to the ER in an ambulance with second degree burns on both hands and chest. Then a few months of healing. Fortunately, it happened in the drive through at [REDACTED] rather then on the highway or the end result would have been catastrophic. Product either needs to be redesigned,a disclaimer on the product or discontinued.
