  1. Emergency room

Made Jun 9, 2024, sent to the company Jun 12, 2024, published by CPSC Jun 27, 2024

The product, in the report: The green Reduce 14oz Coldee Tumbler with Handle for Kids Leakproof Insulated Stainless Steel Mug with Lid & Straw Spill Proof Chew-Resistant Straw 2 Pack The edges on the spot to drink are the sharp edges. The straw is also not chew proof. Dimensions: 5”W x 6”H

My son was walking around at daycare using the Reduce kids water bottle, fell on it, and the lid sliced his face. We had to visit the ER. This happened in March. He is now allowed to use it BUT at the table AND sitting only. Upon eating breakfast this morning, we discovered that several sealing components also on the lid are easily removable by kids and are choking hazards. He is three years old. This water bottle is not safe whether the child is walking or sitting down. The straw is also not chew proof as described.
